APTEC Solutions PTY LTD (ABN: 17 645 912 947) ("Company", "we", "us", "our") operates the GreenSense service ("Service").     We collect photos and images you upload to the Service:
  • Lawn Photos: Images of your lawn for AI-powered grass type identification

  • Product Photos: Images of product labels for OCR-based product recognition and inventory management

  • Photo Metadata: File information including size, format, upload timestamp, and embedded metadata (EXIF data) such as:

    • - Camera/device information (if present in photo)
    - Date and time photo was taken (if present in photo)
    - Location data (GPS coordinates, if present in photo)
    - Technical settings (ISO, aperture, etc., if present in photo)

    Note: We may process and store photo metadata (EXIF data) that is embedded in uploaded photos. This metadata may include location information or device details. We use this information for service functionality and may anonymise it for analytics purposes.

    Photos are stored securely on third-party cloud storage services and are processed by AI services to provide lawn care recommendations and product identification.

    • All data used for training is anonymised and aggregated with other users' data. No personally identifiable information is used in AI training.

    We process your uploaded photos to:

  • Content Moderation: Automatically scan photos for inappropriate content using automated content moderation services

    7.1 Retention Periods


    We retain your information for the following periods:
  • Account Information: Until account deletion or 7 years after last activity

  • Lawn Care Data: Until account deletion or 7 years after last activity

  • Usage Analytics: 2 years (anonymised after 1 year)

  • Credit Transactions: 7 years (for tax and legal compliance)

  • Support Communications: 3 years

    • 7.2 Deletion Process


    When you delete your account or request data deletion:
  • Personal information will be deleted within 30 days

  • Anonymised data may be retained for research purposes

  • Legal compliance data may be retained longer as required by law

    • 7.3 Photo Retention


  • Lawn Photos: Retained until lawn deletion or account deletion

  • Product Photos: Retained until inventory item deletion or account deletion

  • Deleted Photos: Removed from storage services within 30 days of deletion request (cannot be recovered after deletion)

  • Backup Copies: May be retained in backups for up to 90 days (we are not responsible for backup failures or inability to recover photos)

  • Anonymised Data: Anonymised photo data may be retained indefinitely for AI training and research

  • Legal Compliance: Photos may be retained longer if required by law or legal proceedings

  • Storage Limits: We reserve the right to impose reasonable limits on photo storage (size, quantity, or duration) and may require deletion of photos that exceed these limits
